Anne Costello is a leading voice-over talent. She is known as the famous voice of “Casper, the Friendly Ghost” Besides recording for hundreds of television and radio commercials, she created the voice of “Mommy” in Family Circus” NBC’s animated television specials; all the female voices for “Barba Papa” cartoon series and many dramatizations and commercials as “Casper.” For many years, she has also recorded the voices and sounds of leading toys and dolls including the voice of Barbie. She has created the characters of “Annie May, Dorothy and Jimmy” and performs all three voices on audiocassettes and CDs. On-camera, she has been featured on ABC Television Specials. Her acting stage credits include numerous roles in Off-Broadway and summer stock productions.

Anne is also an award-winning producer and director. As president of Jo-An Pictures Ltd., she produced the one hour television documentary “Jennifer’s Chinese Diary” which won the Bronze Medal at the International Film and Television Festival of NY under the category of children’s entertainment. She has also produced several programs on art including a series of ten on the “Lectures of Robert Beverly Hale” and “The Painters Mind” which received excellent reviews. On audiocassette and CD, she has produced a series of eight tapes, focusing on the characters she created - Annie May, Dorothy and Jimmy. Her credits also include directing at the CBS-TV Workshop, the conceiving of the American Creative Theater where she produced, directed and performed in many of their productions.
