MEDITERRANEAN STILL LIFE
Oil on Canvas 36" x 30" IRA GOLDBERG travels to Italy every summer where he has produced many colorful and dynamic plein air paintings. For many years, Goldberg has been associated with the Art Students League of New York and now has the distinct honor of being chosen for the position of the League’s new director. In galleries throughout the country, he has had numerous solo exhibitions and has also exhibited at the National Academy of Design, American Artists Professional League, Audobon Artists and the Allied Artists of America among others. In 1996, he won the prestigious Dines Carlsen Award for Best Still Life at the National Academy of Design 171st annual exhibition.
