Click on Painting For Viewing You know Tina Louise as a luminous stage, screen and
television actress. Born in New York City, it was her first appearance on
Broadway in "Lil’ Abner" that brought her to the attention of
Hollywood, where she proceeded to appear in numerous major motion pictures
including "God’s Little Acre," "The Happy Ending,"
"Johnny Suede," and "The Stepford Wives." She has appeared
as a guest star in almost every hit TV show and has also been cast in running
parts in many popular TV series. Her most recent acting role is in the
independent feature, "Growing Down in Brooklyn," which was
released this year, 2001.
We have learned that Tina is multi-talented and has devoted
herself to painting with the same fervent dedication she has shown as an
actress. She has produced many beautiful paintings and drawings that are
fanciful and poetic, some based on dreamlike inner workings, abstract in nature
while bordering on the coast of realism. Her imagery transports the viewer into
unknown domains of heart, mind and soul and opens channels of expression and
feelings undiscovered before. In addition to her acting and painting prowess, Tina is a
learning leader and volunteers in the reading program within the New York City
public school system. "Art is my essence," she says, "What I am
doing now is what is most important to me…and I always go forward, always
forward with my acting and my painting, but what is even more meaningful to me
is my volunteer work with the children." Represented by Jo-An Fine Art NY, NY 10150 For prices or
